Overview:

Introduction:

The risks for occupational accidents and diseases at work have to be managed by the employers and workers who are facing them. In order to ensure effective action, it is essential to establish occupational safety and health (OSH) management systems at all workplaces for continual improvement of the working environment and preventive measures. 

Course Objectives:

At the end of this course the participants will be able to:

  • Identify the latest occupational safety and health programs and OSHA standards, procedures and guidelines for many activities within their facilities.
  • Develop the capacity of the participants in the work of inspection and inspection in the safety procedures and how to prepare the necessary plans to cope with various types of emergencies.
  • Apply occupational safety and health standards, policies, and procedures in accordance with the levels of occupational safety and health management at the US Department of Justice.

Unit 1:

  • General Introduction to OSHA and Construction Measures.
  • Means of escape - the dangers of electricity.
  • Insulation system for equipment and placing signs on it.
  • Hazardously classified sites - barriers to protection and protection of equipment.

Unit 2:

  • Occupational Health - Blood-related diseases.
  •  Prevention and protection against fall hazard - Scaffolding and stairs.
  • Personal protective tasks. Respiratory Protection Program.

Unit 3:

  • Machinery and equipment - Drilling.
  • The use of explosive materials in construction operations.
  • Fire Fighting - Fire Extinguishers - Classification.
  • Fire extinguishing materials.

Unit 4:

  • Modern fire alarm systems.
  • Automatic fire extinguishing systems.
  • Communicate information on hazardous chemicals.

Unit 5:

  • Acerogenins - Welding and cutting works.
  • Radiation Safety - Flammable / Flammable Materials.
  • Cranes, excavators, cranes, elevators and conveyors.
  • Applications, models and practical situations.
