Quality Management: ISO 9001 Lead Auditor

Overview:

Introduction

Applying widely accepted audit principles, processes, and techniques, the ISO 9001 Lead Auditor training course helps you to gain the necessary expertise to conduct quality management system (QMS) audits. The objectives of this training course are to enable you to successfully plan, carry out, and close ISO 9001 conformity assessment audits by combining the requirements of ISO/IEC 17021-1, the recommendations of ISO 19011, and other good practices of auditing.

In addition to a theoretical foundation, the training course offers examples, exercises, and quizzes to assist you in practicing the most crucial elements of conformity assessment audits, including how to interpret ISO 9001 requirements in the context of an audit, auditing principles, how to apply audit methods, how to gather and verify evidence, how to lead an audit team, how to write nonconformity reports, and how to prepare the final audit report.

An exam is given after the training course has been successfully completed. You can apply for the "Certified ISO 9001 Lead Auditor" credential if you pass the exam. The ability to audit a QMS based on ISO 9001 is evidenced by a certificate stating that you are a "ISO 9001 Lead Auditor," which is internationally recognized and accredited by UKAS.
