Overview:
Introduction
ASME Plant Inspector Level 1 Course provides the fundamental principles of the inspection, assessment, and management of fixed pressure equipment. The content of the course is delivered in a systematic manner, from the inspection planning process to inspection practices and evaluation of the associated equipment. It is aimed at the upstream and downstream Petrochemical industry but is equally relevant to stakeholders from other sectors that utilize pressure equipment.

Equipment failure modes including principal stress and crack propagation
Unit 2:

Damage mechanisms (DMs) including fatigue and creep

Detection of DMs including techniques of thickness measurement

Evaluation of degraded items including measurement of vessel peaking and distortion

Professional or technical plantation
Unit 3:

Specific equipment inspection plans including inspection frequencies

Inspection reporting includes the use of the correct technical terminology

Practical skills include writing an assessed inspection plan.

Petrochemical and process industries and become knowledgeable in inspection plans
