Overview:

Introduction:

This 5-day training course on Study Design and Research Methods aims to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of the various aspects of designing and conducting research studies. The course will cover topics such as research design, sampling techniques, data collection and analysis, and ethical considerations in research.

Course Objectives:

At the end of this course, the participants will be able to:

  • To provide participants with a thorough understanding of the different types of research designs and their suitability for different research questions.
  • To familiarize participants with the various sampling techniques and their applications in research.
  • To equip participants with the skills necessary to collect and analyze data in a rigorous and ethical manner.
  • To enable participants to critically evaluate research studies and understand the importance of replication in research.
  • To provide participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to design and conduct their own research studies.
