Introduction:

Marine security management under the International Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS) Code is a critical component of protecting ships, port facilities, maritime infrastructure, and global supply chains from evolving security threats. It integrates maritime security governance, security risk management, port facility protection, ship security, regulatory compliance, emergency preparedness, and international coordination to strengthen the resilience of maritime operations. This conference explores the strategic frameworks of the ISPS Code, security governance models, risk management approaches, compliance requirements, and emerging maritime security challenges aligned with international maritime regulations. It provides an institutional perspective on how effective marine security management enhances regulatory compliance, operational continuity, and the protection of critical maritime assets.
