Overview

Introduction:

Biological and thermal treatment processes represent structured approaches used to manage and transform waste streams within environmental and industrial systems. These treatment pathways integrate biochemical degradation mechanisms and thermochemical conversion systems to reduce waste volume and recover value under controlled conditions. This training program presents treatment frameworks, process models, system architectures, and performance control structures governing biological and thermal waste treatment. It provides an institutional perspective on how organizations structure treatment systems, align operational processes, and manage environmental outcomes within integrated waste management environments.

Program Objectives:

By the end of this program, participants will be able to:

  • Analyze biological treatment frameworks and process structures within waste management systems.

  • Evaluate thermal treatment technologies and thermochemical conversion models.

  • Assess system design frameworks linking biological and thermal treatment processes.

  • Examine environmental control structures and emission management systems.

  • Identify performance monitoring frameworks and efficiency measurement systems within treatment operations.

Target Audience:

  • Environmental engineers and waste management professionals.

  • Process and plant operations specialists.

  • Sustainability and environmental compliance professionals.

  • Municipal and industrial waste management planners.

  • Consultants in environmental and waste treatment systems.
