Introduction:

Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Management (EPCM) contracts and petroleum services contracts are fundamental contractual frameworks governing the planning, execution, operation, and delivery of upstream, midstream, and downstream oil and gas projects. Effective contract management integrates commercial strategy, procurement, risk allocation, project governance, technical obligations, regulatory compliance, performance management, and dispute resolution to achieve successful project outcomes. This training program explores EPCM contracting strategies alongside petroleum services agreements, emphasizing contractual structures, commercial management, risk mitigation, and governance throughout the project lifecycle. It provides an organizational perspective on how structured contract management enhances project performance, commercial value, regulatory compliance, and long-term business sustainability.
