Introduction:

Value Engineering (VE) is a systematic approach to enhancing organizational and project performance by optimizing the relationship between functions, costs, quality, and required outcomes. It integrates functional analysis, lifecycle cost considerations, value assessment, and multidisciplinary decision making to identify opportunities for improving efficiency without compromising essential performance requirements. This training program examines Value Engineering principles, function analysis methodologies, value measurement frameworks, and cost optimization strategies across projects, products, and organizational operations. It also explores the Value Engineering Job Plan, alternative evaluation criteria, lifecycle performance indicators, and governance structures that support value creation and performance excellence.

Program Objectives:

By the end of this program, participants will be able to:

Analyze Value Engineering principles, value concepts, and their relationship with organizational performance excellence.
Evaluate functional analysis methodologies and value measurement criteria for identifying performance opportunities.
Assess lifecycle costing principles, cost drivers, and value optimization considerations.
Examine Value Engineering Job Plan phases, alternative evaluation frameworks, and decision criteria.
Determine value realization indicators, performance assurance requirements, and governance considerations.
