Introduction:

Upstream operations represent the foundation of the oil and gas industry, encompassing exploration, drilling, field development, and hydrocarbon production activities that supply energy resources to global markets. They integrate geological evaluation, drilling technologies, production systems, operational safety, environmental management, and regulatory compliance to ensure efficient and responsible resource development. This training program explores upstream operational frameworks, exploration methodologies, drilling systems, production processes, equipment applications, and risk management practices used across onshore and offshore operations. It provides a comprehensive perspective on strengthening technical knowledge, operational efficiency, safety performance, and sustainable upstream operations.

Program Objectives:

By the end of this program, participants will be able to:

Analyze the structure, operational frameworks, and core activities of upstream oil and gas operations.
Evaluate exploration methodologies, production systems, drilling technologies, and equipment used in onshore and offshore environments.
Assess health, safety, environmental, quality, and risk management practices supporting upstream operations.
Examine drilling processes, well construction methodologies, and operational requirements throughout the drilling lifecycle.
Explore the relationship between upstream operations and downstream value chain activities.
